Care plans should include sufficient prevention interventions to avoid serious problems like falls, wounds, infection, malnutrition, dehydration and choking. Changes of condition should be monitored, reported and treated timely.

Throughout litigation, we prove the facility’s failures and how they injured our client. We frequently find that the facility’s ownership and management has failed to allocate sufficient budget to provide the appropriate staff to care for its residents. Inadequate budgeting and staffing leads to problems like long wait times to answer call lights, delays in repositioning immobile residents, lack of help with daily activities, and poor communication with family and providers.
